GoHighLevel Free Trial in 2026: What You Get for 14 Days
GoHighLevel does not have a permanent free plan. It currently offers a 14-day free trial on Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro. The trial is useful if you test one real lead journey instead of trying to build your entire business in two weeks.
I have seen trial accounts become messy because the owner imports everything, activates several workflows and never defines what success looks like. Keep the test small. Capture a lead, follow up, move the opportunity and book an appointment.

What the GoHighLevel trial includes
HighLevel says the trial gives you access to the features of the plan you choose. The current standard options are:
- Starter: $97 per month after the trial, with up to three sub-accounts.
- Unlimited: $297 per month after the trial, with unlimited sub-accounts.
- Agency Pro: $497 per month after the trial, with SaaS Mode and advanced agency functions.
Billing starts automatically after the trial unless you cancel. HighLevel also states that usage charges for telecommunications or third-party services can apply during the trial. Phone numbers, calls and messages are not automatically free just because the platform subscription is in a trial period.

What to build during the 14 days
- Set the account basics. Add the business details, time zone, users and brand settings.
- Create one pipeline. Use stages your team already understands.
- Connect one lead source. A form, calendar or landing page is enough.
- Build one follow-up workflow. Include stop conditions for replies and bookings.
- Run a real test contact. Check every message, notification, field and stage.
- Review the result with the user. Ask whether the process is clearer than the current system.
What not to do during the trial
- Do not import every contact before checking field mapping and consent.
- Do not launch SMS before phone setup and registration are complete.
- Do not activate overlapping workflows for the same lead.
- Do not install a snapshot without reviewing its messages, links and permissions.
- Do not judge the platform only by how quickly you can change the design.
A simple trial scorecard
At the end of the trial, answer these questions:
- Did every test lead enter the correct pipeline?
- Did follow-up stop when the contact replied or booked?
- Could the team see the next action without asking you?
- Did the calendar, notifications and attribution work?
- Which monthly plan and usage costs will the live setup require?
If you cannot answer those questions, adding more features will not help. Fix the basic journey first.
