Where to find free GoHighLevel website templates
The safest place to start is HighLevel’s own Template Library:
- Open the correct sub-account.
- Go to Sites, then Websites or Funnels.
- Select New Website or New Funnel.
- Open the Template Library.
- Search by business type, style or color, then preview the design.

How to choose a template that will be easy to finish
Do not choose only by the homepage screenshot. Before you install a template, check:
- whether it includes the pages you actually need;
- whether the mobile preview is clean;
- whether the structure fits your offer and audience;
- whether you can replace the images without breaking the layout;
- whether the creator provides instructions or support;
- whether it is a website, funnel or full snapshot.
A website template is not the same as a snapshot. A snapshot can contain a much wider set of assets, such as workflows, calendars, custom fields and pipelines. Confirm what you are importing before you promise a complete setup.
How to customize a free GHL template
1. Replace the message before changing the design
Start with the headline, offer, proof and call to action. A beautiful layout with vague copy will still underperform. I usually finish the page message first, then adjust spacing and visual details around it.
2. Apply your brand consistently
Replace the logo, colors, fonts and stock images. Keep button styles and spacing consistent. Do not add five different design ideas just because the builder makes it possible.
3. Rebuild and test lead capture
This is important: HighLevel’s share-link documentation says forms, surveys and lead capture do not transfer when a funnel or website is imported by share link. Reconnect or rebuild them, then submit a real test lead.
4. Check the mobile version separately
Open the mobile editor and check text size, section spacing, image crops, buttons and horizontal overflow. Do not assume the desktop version will automatically be ready for a phone.
5. Finish the publishing settings
Connect the correct domain, set the page path, add the SEO title and description, upload a social image and confirm analytics or tracking. Then test navigation, forms, calendar links and thank-you pages on the live domain.
Importing a template from a share link
If a designer or community member gives you a HighLevel share link, log in to the correct agency first, open the link and choose the destination location. HighLevel currently allows a share-link import into up to three locations at a time. Give the import a moment to finish before refreshing.
After import, review every page and connection. Never assume another person’s phone number, calendar, privacy text or tracking code is safe to publish in your account.
My recommendation
Use a free template when the structure is close to what you need and you are willing to test the final setup. Start from blank when the template needs so many changes that you are fighting it on every section.
